Embark on a transformative journey as a VP Engineering Manager – Salesforce Lead, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our CRM Platforms. This role is accountable for leading the Salesforce engineering capability as a strategic enterprise platform, championing scalable, secure, and high‑quality delivery aligned to business outcomes.
Working closely with Product Owners, Architecture, Data Engineering, Security, Operations, and senior business stakeholders, you will drive the evolution of Salesforce as a core system supporting for CRM journeys. You will lead engineering teams and partners to deliver value through agile delivery models, while ensuring strong governance, risk management, and platform integrity in a regulated environment.
You will lead the ongoing transformation of Salesforce capabilities, championing user and customer needs, engineering excellence, and a collaborative, data‑led way of working. Ensuring compliance, resilience, and control in service delivery is a key responsibility of this role.
To be successful as a VP Engineering Manager – Salesforce Lead, you should have experience with:
Senior engineering leadership experience delivering large‑scale Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom platform capabilities) in complex enterprise environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills, working with global business leads, product teams, and technology partners to align strategy and execution.
Hands‑on experience leading platform transformation, modernisation, and technical debt reduction, with a strong focus on scalability and reuse.
Ownership of end‑to‑end Salesforce architecture, including integrations, data flows, security, CI/CD, and environment strategy.
Leading delivery across Salesforce platforms through agile engineering teams, guiding prioritisation, managing dependencies, and ensuring predictable outcomes.
Establishing and enforcing platform governance, risk, and control frameworks, including release management, access control, and audit readiness.
Some of Highly Valued Skills may include:
Experience working in Banking / Financial Services or other regulated industries.
Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, data platforms, and identity/access management.
Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high‑performing engineering teams and manage strategic vendors.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic leadership level and deep engineering detail when required.
