Jr Java Developer

To be successful as a Jr. Java Developer, you should have experience with:

• Developing applications in Java/J2EE using frameworks such as Spring, with exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures
• Designing user interfaces with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps concepts, and test automation

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Familiarity with caching technologies such as Ignite or GridGain
• Applying observability practices such as logging, monitoring, or telemetry to support reliable systems
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.

Minimum Salary: $65,000

Maximum Salary: $95,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure. 

Accountabilities

• Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
• Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
• Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
