Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products

Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products. Working directly with Trading and Sales, you will be part of a high performing team that will implement a best-in-class platform for all Securitized Products business workflows using a combination of Java, Angular and other technologies. To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products, you should:

• Be a capable programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object Oriented Design principals

• Exhibit advanced Java skills with a thorough understanding of multi-threading

• Possess experience working with pub/sub frameworks and associated technologies such as Kafka or Solace

• Possess extensive experience of Angular coding and Web Socket implementation for real time systems

• Have experience using Mongo DB to efficiently work with large data sets

Other highly valued skills include:

• Guiding and supporting junior developers

• Knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines and implementing automated testing

• Understanding of Fixed Income products and Electronic Trading workflows

• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot & Guice

• Ability to learn new frameworks quickly

Salary for Whippany, NJ:

Minimum Salary: $170,000

Maximum Salary: $230,000

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
