In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high‑impact Financial Crime Anti‑Money Laundering programs. You will work alongside a highly skilled, experienced team of specialists, providing critical software engineering and analytical capabilities that support mission‑critical customer journeys and business processes. The position offers the opportunity to deepen existing expertise while developing broader skills and experience across the domain.
To be successful as a Senior Data Engineer – AVP, you should have:
Proven experience programming in Python
Ample experience with SQL and Unix shell scripting
Practical experience designing and working with microservices architectures
Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience working with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
Practical experience with Databricks
Experience delivering AML solutions using Actimize, Mantas, or equivalent platforms
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our Whippany, New Jersey office.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
