Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Senior Product Owner. In this role you will be responsible for guiding the team’s progress and ensuring alignment with upcoming sprints and quarterly strategic planning. You will review project plans, collaborate closely with project managers, and translate high-level features and capabilities into actionable tasks. You will coordinate with vendors to address inquiries, coordinate project submissions, and oversee dependencies to ensure all goals are met. You will have interdepartmental coordination and collaboration skills, which are essential in this fast-paced environment. Experience in financial services is required, particularly in the launch and relaunch of credit card products.
To be successful as a Senior Product Owner, you should have:
Experience in credit card processing workflows, including transaction lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and compliance with financial regulations
In-depth knowledge of TSYS and other customer-facing applications, enabling efficient transaction management, and issue resolution
Ability to handle multiple priorities through effective organization, strategic scheduling, and time optimization
Knowledge in risk mitigation, audit frameworks, and governance practices
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Background in project planning and PM work
Proficient in Jira and MS Office Suite
Experience with Agile methodologies
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
