To be successful as a Third-Party Security Consultant, you should have:
Hands-on technical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security, specifically with implementing and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities
Proven experience providing Third-Party Risk Oversight: Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with external vendors and service providers from a technical perspective
Proficiency conducting security audits using established frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Other highly valued skills may include:
Delivering Impactful Presentations: Proficient in using tools like PowerPoint to create clear, engaging, and visually compelling presentations tailored to diverse audiences
Remarkable Stakeholder Engagement: Considerable ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and collaboration
Advanced Data Assessment Capabilities: Experienced in interpreting multi-layered datasets to extract insights, support strategy, and drive strategic outcomes

This role is based in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $170,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To assess and manage the security risks associated with third-party vendors by ensuring that products and services meet agreed standards, whilst considering the risk position of third parties and their inherent risk.
