To be successful as a Third-Party Security Consultant you should have experience with:
• Third party risk management
• Cyber and Information Security
• Auditing with experience of frameworks such as ISO27001
Other highly valued skills include:
• Presentation skills using tools such as PowerPoint
• Stakeholder management and being able to converse across all levels within the bank
• Data analysis and being able to analyze complex data

Purpose of the role
To assess and manage the security risks associated with third-party vendors by ensuring that products and services meet agreed standards, whilst considering the risk position of third parties and their inherent risk.
