Embark on a transformative journey as a SCA (Screening Configuration and Analytics) Workstream Lead at Barclays. In this role, you will act as a key process expert within the Data Monitoring function, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of team workflows while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

You will lead and support a team by managing daily workloads, delivering training to colleagues (both new and experienced), and ensuring all activities align with the bank’s risk and control framework. The role also involves overseeing ORAC actions and issues, responding to regulatory requests, and engaging with a range of high-profile stakeholders across the organisation.

Working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, you will be responsible for prioritising tasks dynamically throughout the day, making informed decisions, and maintaining precision when handling data. Your ability to balance multiple priorities while upholding compliance standards will be critical to success.

To be successful as a SCA (Screening Configuration and Analytics) Workstream Lead, you should have experience with:

  • Knowledge of Financial Crime Screen, particularly Data Monitoring within a Screening environment.
  • Good knowledge of the banks risk and control framework.
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage varying priorities.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Precision and accuracy when dealing with data.

This role can be performed in Glasgow or Bournemouth, with a hybrid working model of working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Purpose of the role

To monitor the banks operations and ensure that operations are conducted in a compliant, efficient, and effective manner whilst mitigating risk and complying with relevant regulation.  

Accountabilities

  • Support the development of initiatives that aim to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development and implementation of operations procedures and controls to mitigate risks and provide efficient operations.     .
  • Collaborate with various teams across the bank to promote operational processes and alignment with the bank’s objectives.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate key findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Support various business areas with administrative support within the bank's operations, collaborating alongside third-party providers.
  • Monitoring of banking operations to align and comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
