Explore locationWe are looking for a motivated Financial Crime Screening Operations Data Analyst to join our growing team at Barclays. This role provides a great opportunity to work across data, regulatory compliance and operational processes, helping to support smarter financial crime detection and prevention through data-driven insights.
To be successful as a Financial Crime Screening, Operations Data Analyst, you should have experience with:
Some experience in data science, analytics or quantitative research, ideally within financial services, compliance or risk environments.
Working knowledge of Python, SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with financial crime screening (e.g. sanctions screening, PEP, AML, KYC or transaction monitoring) is highly desirable and a good advantage.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be located at our Glasgow or Bournemouth office.
Purpose of the role
To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
