Explore locationJoin us as a Product and Proposition Manager - Insurance at Barclays where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of two insurance products, working directly on these products and in close collaboration with a third-party supplier. You will support change delivery by partnering with product owners, managing operational activities such as customer complaints, and participating in governance forums. The role involves translating insights and actions from governance forums into tangible product improvements, while working with regulators to ensure ongoing compliance. You will also undertake data analysis and regularly present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
To be successful as a Product and Proposition Manager - Insurance, you should have experience with:
• Proven product management experience
• Delivery experience, including working with change activities
• Solid experience working with data, including data analysis, interpretation, and presentation, with a good understanding of governance and risk forums
• Strategic mindset, with the ability to support the development of product and proposition strategies
• Experience within the financial services industry
• Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining products within a regulated environment
• Experience supporting product governance, including risk and compliance requirements
• Great ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business
• Customer focused approach, with a commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience within the insurance sector
• Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• Familiarity with agile ways of working

This role can be based in either London, Manchester or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
