To be successful as a Security Engineer you should have experience with:
• Proven career history supporting Splunk Enterprise Security toolsets with demonstrated experience in Splunk roles and comprehensive understanding of Splunk architecture, distributed components, and administrative functions
• Expertise in Splunk Enterprise Security use cases, Common Information Model (CIM), data models, enrichment processes, and security automation
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with hands-on experience supporting vendor security applications in large, complex enterprise environments
• Working knowledge of network security fundamentals and common architectures including firewalls, DMZ, proxies, and server configurations
• Excellent documentation and communication skills to create high-quality materials for internal customers and technical support teams
• Ability to think strategically about security architecture while translating high-level concepts into practical, implementable security solutions
Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with diverse security toolsets including Vulnerability Assessment, Firewall Assurance, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
• Relevant professional certifications in information technology or cloud security (CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash and SQL
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and SaaS-based security solutions in operational environments
• Knowledge of configuration management tools including Chef, Ansible
• Experience with automation platforms such as Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations.
