To be successful as a Data Engineer, you should have:
Ample foundational knowledge in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline
Extensive experience developing data solutions using Python and PySpark, with a considerable grasp of distributed data processing and performance optimization
Solid background in writing optimized and maintainable SQL queries across various relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Proficient in leveraging AWS or similar cloud platforms to build scalable, secure data solutions
Solid understanding of financial crime concepts, including AML and regulatory compliance frameworks
Familiar with Databricks for collaborative data engineering
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $75,000
Maximum Salary: $135,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
