In this role, you’ll join the GTSM team supporting Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP), owning critical cloud-based data products and ensuring production stability across AWS environments. You’ll work with modern data platforms, collaborate with global teams, and influence service reliability while growing deep expertise in cloud and data technologies within a hybrid, enterprise-scale environment.
To be successful as a EDP AWS Cloud Support Engineer, you should have experience with:
Certificate or equivalent work experience demonstrating deep expertise in AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and day-to-day cloud operations
Data ingestion and data curation, with experience supporting data products in production environments
AWS security policies, account setup, and governance controls
Data quality monitoring, including analysis and remediation of data drift and schema drift issues
Observability tools and building dashboards for cloud-based data metrics
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience supporting centralized, multi-tenant platforms in an enterprise environment
Building and operating scalable platform services in a hybrid-cloud architecture
Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Immuta, Confluent, or data mesh services
Good learning mindset with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and platforms
Experience collaborating across technical and business teams to support mission-critical services
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $115,000
Maximum Salary: $160,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This position is eligible for an incentive award.
Purpose of the role
To effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations.
