Explore locationBarclays is seeking a Senior Java Developer with ample experience in Post Trade Settlement systems. This role involves delivering innovative solutions in close collaboration with the business, contributing to both regulatory and strategic projects. You will be engaged throughout the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, evaluation, design, development, testing, and timely delivery. You will be expected to build a deep understanding of current settlement systems while demonstrating technical and analytical skills in a dynamic, agile environment.
To be successful as a Senior Java Developer, you should have:
Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, and microservices
Experience with REST API, Kafka, and Spring Boot framework
Knowledge of database management systems, such as NoSQL or MongoDB
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience within OpenShift and AWS
Working in the financial domain, especially markets post trade
Knowledge of JMS messaging system
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
