To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
Front‑end engineering using modern UI frameworks (e.g., React / Angular) with strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and responsive UI patterns
Back‑end engineering using Java and Spring technologies (Spring Boot, REST APIs, security patterns, integration frameworks)
API design and implementation, including RESTful services, versioning, security (OAuth2/JWT concepts), performance and reliability considerations
CI/CD and engineering toolchains, including Git-based workflows and automated build/test/deploy practices (e.g., GitLab pipelines) aligned to continuous delivery expectations.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with containerised platforms such as OpenShift / Kubernetes, and understanding deployment/runtime concerns in cloud-native environments
Working knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle) and data modelling/query optimisation fundamentals
Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging (e.g., Kafka)
Experience with observability and monitoring tooling (AppDynamics, logging/tracing) and operational readiness practices
Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Agile delivery ceremonies and ways of working.
