Explore locationJoin us as a Compliance Delivery Lead VP at Barclays, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You'll harness technology to revolutionize our digital offerings, ensuring unapparelled customer experiences. We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our development team. You will work with stakeholders to deliver quality
product to our global user base. You'll interact with Business Analysts, business stakeholders and developers to understand root level requirements, planning and delivering in an agile model. You will coordinate the application(s) architecture and will also drive best practices for end-to-end development using modern solutions and future technologies.
To be successful as a Compliance Delivery Lead VP, you should have experience with:
Guiding the design and delivery of enterprise-grade web and API integration solutions
Java, Spring, Kafka, RESTful APIs, and Salesforce Service Cloud, with experience in architecting scalable, secure, and compliant solutions
API-first design guidelines and modern integration patterns, including a synchronous processing and microservices
Microservices architecture and event-driven design using message queues. In-depth understanding of web service security protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and mutual TLS
Supporting code reviews, architecture governance, and mentoring engineering teams across geographies.
Able to translate business requirements into technical architecture and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with compliance and regulatory standards
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity)
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure Entra, and Generative AI tools (GitLab Duo and Microsoft Copilot)
Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or similar platforms; experience in Salesforce Developer Toolkit (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning) and familiar with Salesforce data tools and ETL platforms
Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and driving cultural change within engineering teams
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary $170,000
Maximum Salary $230,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
